Around 4:40 PM, a fierce fire broke out at 14 Tang Bat Ho Street in Hai Ba Trung Ward, Hanoi.
The premises operated as a food and beverage restaurant, designed with exterior facades built heavily from wooden materials. Flames initially flared from the rooftop terrace on the third floor and expanded with alarming speed. Eyewitnesses reported that patrons and staff inside scrambled urgently to flee the building.
Multiple loud explosions echoed from the scene as the fire consumed the structure.
Firefighters strive to bring the roaring blaze under control.
Five fire engines were deployed to the fire scene.
Police officers direct high-pressure water hoses to suppress the flames.
The fire-ravaged area was completely gutted by the blaze.
Upon receiving the emergency call, Fire and Rescue Teams from Regional Units 7 and 9 mobilized swiftly to the location, deploying tactical containment measures.
By approximately 5:00 PM, emergency responders brought the blaze under control. Preliminary reports confirmed that all individuals inside the restaurant evacuated in time, preventing casualties.
Authorities are actively investigating the root cause of the blaze.
