AGM Group Advances Commercialization Plans for AI-Enabled Desktop DePIN Node

by BusinessMagazine

Collaboration with HashBeaver focuses on production readiness and global sales, while evaluating AI device management and cloud services

NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AGM Group Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AGMH, “AGM Group” or the “Company”) today outlined commercialization plans for the desktop DePIN node it is jointly developing with HashBeaver. Building on the previously disclosed pilot production stage, the Company intends to advance preparations for volume production, develop sales channels and evaluate AI service integration. These efforts are intended to generate incremental hardware sales revenue through product deliveries while exploring recurring revenue opportunities from node management and AI services.

On September 8, 2026, the Company announced the joint development project with HashBeaver and disclosed that the product had entered pilot production. Designed for homes, offices and developers, the node uses a purpose-built application-specific integrated circuit (“ASIC”) to perform SHA-256 hashing for Bitcoin mining. Planned features include connectivity with decentralized physical infrastructure networks (“DePIN”) and AI-assisted device management.

Preparing for Volume Production and Sales

AGM Group intends to apply its systems engineering, manufacturing quality management and supply chain coordination capabilities to advance product testing, obtain applicable certifications and prepare for volume manufacturing with HashBeaver. The parties plan to evaluate direct sales through official websites, regional distribution and bulk purchases by partners as part of a phased product rollout in markets where permitted by applicable law.

Once the product is ready for delivery and the relevant commercial arrangements are in place, AGM intends to generate revenue from hardware supply, systems integration and agreed technical support services. The Company plans to align production batches and inventory with confirmed orders and sales-channel performance, with delivery expansion guided by actual customer demand.

The Company believes the desktop node could extend its hardware business to individual users and smaller organizations, adding a new product category to its offerings. As commercial deliveries commence and ongoing sales grow, the business could contribute incremental revenue. The Company intends to monitor delivery volumes, realized selling prices, unit manufacturing costs and after-sales expenses to support the product’s commercial sustainability.

Evaluating AI Management and Cloud Services

The product’s planned AI capabilities will focus on device operations, including recommendations based on temperature, power consumption and network conditions, anomaly detection, and assistance with managing multiple devices. These functions are intended to reduce users’ configuration and maintenance workload and improve the device experience.

In subsequent software releases, the parties intend to evaluate AI operations assistants and AI agent capabilities that would allow users to query device status, interpret alerts and obtain operating recommendations through natural-language interactions. Device configuration actions would be performed within the scope authorized by the user. These capabilities remain subject to development, testing and product validation.

The parties also intend to evaluate integration with HashBeaver’s planned AI computing services and intelligent routing platform, allowing users to access cloud-based AI models and related services through companion software. This approach could enable existing device users to access AI services after the initial hardware sale, creating potential additional business opportunities.

The first-generation node’s local ASIC computing capacity is dedicated to SHA-256 Bitcoin mining and does not perform general-purpose AI model training or inference. Planned AI model services would be provided through separately integrated cloud computing infrastructure.

Exploring Recurring Service Revenue

Hardware supply and delivery are the intended initial revenue sources for the project. As device deployments and active users increase, the parties plan to evaluate management subscriptions for users operating multiple devices, remote operations and maintenance services, and value-added technical support. They also intend to explore usage-based pricing for cloud AI services.

Once these services have been developed and are ready for commercialization, the customer base established through hardware sales could support subsequent service revenue and increase customer lifetime value over the device’s operating life. Any financial contribution to AGM from these services will depend on the service responsibilities, pricing and revenue-sharing arrangements ultimately agreed by the parties.

AGM will recognize the relevant revenue based on actual contracts and satisfaction of the applicable performance obligations. Inventory production, expressions of interest from sales channels and growth in platform users do not, by themselves, constitute recognized revenue.

Management Commentary

Dr. Bo Zhu, Chief Executive Officer of AGM Group Holdings Inc., commented:

“We aim to translate AGM’s systems engineering and supply chain capabilities into products that we can deliver consistently and that meet users’ needs. The desktop DePIN node we are developing with HashBeaver provides a product opportunity to expand our hardware customer base and generate additional sales revenue.

“Our next phase will focus on product validation, cost management and sales execution. As AI management capabilities and cloud services are introduced, we also aim to provide ongoing value to customers who have purchased our devices and further develop service revenue opportunities beyond the initial hardware delivery.”

Complementing the AI Server Business

On September 3, 2026, AGM Group disclosed that it had commenced volume production and delivery of its all-flash servers. The Company believes that enterprise AI storage and server products, together with desktop nodes for individuals and smaller organizations, could address different segments of computing infrastructure demand.

By applying shared systems engineering, supply chain management and delivery support capabilities across product lines, AGM intends to broaden its hardware offering and evaluate opportunities to cross-sell software and technical services. Commercialization progress and revenue contributions from the desktop node will depend on its own testing and certification results, market demand and actual deliveries.

As the project progresses, the parties plan to provide further information on validated product specifications and AI capabilities, initial sales markets and channels, pricing and delivery schedules. They also intend to disclose confirmed orders, deliveries and related business developments at appropriate stages.
