Thai Bride: ‘The Best Decision Was Traveling to Vietnam for Our Wedding Photos’

by BusinessMagazine

Mint, a well-known Thai content creator behind the account @burntdumplingg, recently shared a series of photos and videos documenting her trip to Ho Chi Minh City for her wedding shoot.

“Coming to Vietnam for our wedding photos was the best decision ever. I’m absolutely in love with the result! The team was incredibly professional and attentive to every detail,” she expressed after seeing the final product.

The shoot took place on June 12 and lasted about seven hours, featuring three distinct concepts. According to Mint, the package cost just over 10,000 baht (approximately 8 million VND), including costumes, hair, makeup, and photography across multiple locations.

She was most surprised by the quantity and quality of the photos. The couple received over 1,000 edited images. Mint noted that the price was very reasonable compared to the experience, from the careful planning and transportation to the way the team curated each concept.

Beyond praising the photo collection, Mint actively recommended the service to her followers and suggested Ho Chi Minh City to any couple considering an overseas destination for their wedding shoot.

The vintage vibe of old Saigon comes to life in every frame.

The first location was the Ho Chi Minh City Museum. Its classical architecture, long hallways, and large windows created a luxurious space, perfectly matching the couple’s elegant wedding attire. Mint noted that this is a popular spot for wedding photography; there were about ten other couples shooting there at the same time.

“This place is stunningly beautiful. As soon as the music played, the emotions just flowed,” she shared in a behind-the-scenes video.

After completing the first concept, the crew quickly adjusted the bride’s hair, makeup, and outfit before moving on to the next scene.

At Phung Hung market, the couple opted for a retro style. The old stalls, faded signs, and everyday atmosphere created a nostalgic aesthetic, reminiscent of old Saigon.

Mint mentioned she saw about ten other couples shooting at the HCMC Museum.

This was the concept that excited Mint the most. She particularly loved the styling, the vintage color grading, and the natural feeling captured in each frame.

The final concept was shot around 5:00 PM on a street in historic District 5. The highlight was a pre-arranged vintage pink car, which brought a youthful, fun, and romantic vibe to the set. The day concluded with the couple sharing a kiss beside the eye-catching car in the middle of the street.

The Thai bride was not only impressed by the final photos but also had high praise for the Vietnamese crew’s work ethic.

“Everyone was so friendly and attentive. It felt like I was out taking photos with friends. The shoot was incredibly fun—truly a happy and memorable journey,” Mint said.

After the shoot, Mint and her partner stayed in Ho Chi Minh City for another four days to sightsee, sample local food, and explore the city’s culture. While planning, they often asked the team for recommendations on eateries, fun spots, and unique local experiences.

For the Thai couple, this trip to Vietnam was more than just a successful wedding shoot; it was a way to create new, beautiful memories in a place they have visited many times before.

After the shoot, the couple stayed for four days of vacation.

Ngo Thi An Duy, a representative of the photography studio, told that the couple found them through Instagram and TikTok.

Previously, the two had traveled to Vietnam many times and developed a deep love for the landscapes, culture, and people. When planning their wedding photos, they decided to return to Ho Chi Minh City for this special project.

“The couple loves the retro style, which is one of our signatures. That was a key reason they chose to work with our team,” An Duy said.

Before the shoot, the couple viewed many of the studio’s projects on social media. They were particularly impressed by the natural style, the focus on genuine emotion, and the way the photos told a story. Trusting the team’s creativity, they did not give many specific instructions for locations, outfits, or posing, preferring to let the studio consult and build the concepts.

The meticulousness of the crew and the stunning locations left the Thai content creator continuously impressed, prompting her to share her experience repeatedly on her personal page.

The team consisted of three members: a photographer, an assistant, and a makeup artist. Because they had to execute multiple concepts in one day, the schedule, outfits, and travel times were carefully coordinated in advance.

Although they came from two different countries, the bride, groom, and the crew faced few obstacles. They communicated primarily in English, while the schedule was prepared in great detail.
